Please be aware that there are several variants of the Gumy line.
The latest (the one I'm reviewing) is the HAF240 variant. This particular model have an addition of an "air pocket" if you will, sort of like ones you would find on the heel part many running sneakers. As the one for the sneakers is designed to help absorb shock, these air pockets are designed with the intention of comfort and one-size-fits-most idea. They are soft and wouldn't have much resistance if you squeezed it, but given that ears are soft tissued, the resistance seems right.
Noise isolation is lacking, but that's because I'm so used to the in-ear types. For people who never used the in-ear types, you will like these a lot.
I went on the treadmill with these on, and it stayed in my ears for the entire 15 minutes duration with mixed running and jogging. Just be warned, people with larger ears might want to look for something else with a custom molding fit.
